We officially closed out week 2 of the home renovation. We are still in demo mode. A lot of things still need to be removed/destroyed/thrown out. We have stopped all demo on the paster walls because we sent in our asbestos test kit to be evaluated. Once we get back the results we can move forward with our plans!
Cost breakdown for week 2: $47.95
Asbestos test kit = $7.95 + the $40 fee they charge when you send the sample in.
What we have accomplished in week two:
Removed the rest of the kitchen flooring! (that was a BEAST!)
Cut down the dead tree that fell from a storm.
Got samples of plaster to send in for asbestos testing.
Had a big campfire using the wood from our fallen tree.
